New Beginning

You may or may not have noticed that, due to factors beyond my control, this site has been down for the better part of a month. Additionally, it is quite possible that I have lost as much as a third of its archives for good (I suppose that’s what I get for not adequately backing-up my data) . At any rate, I will be trying to reconstruct what I can of my prior postings, though I’ll probably only re-upload a fraction of the archives. It’s a time-consuming process, and life is busy.
| Anyhow, as the digital world has been passing me by, winter has lifted on DC, and spring is tightening its grasp with each passing day. In fact, the sakura blossoms downtown have already passed peak bloom (though it looks like there will still be plenty of flowers for this weekend’s sakura matsuri street festival).
The weather at this time of year tends to be iffy at best, and the forecast for this weekend is (so far) calling for some showers and cooler weather. |
